For those of you sitting on the fence wondering whether or not to invest in restoring your drum kit...wonder no longer! John Jones of "Thumper" Custom Drums is the drumsmith who will make your dreams come true. John took my vintage Ludwigs (circ. 69/70) to a level that was not there when the drums were brand new. His combination of shell restoration, cutting new bearing edges, rims-mount isolation & Aquarian heads brought it all together. To top it off I chose a "Pacific Coast Native American Design" that Scott Rockenfield of Rocken Wraps digitized into a unique wrap for the shells. Thanks a bunch, John...You delivered the goods!
